The HEART Programme

At Autism Resources South Africa, we believe that every neurodivergent individual deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. That's why we created the HEART Programme - a holistic autism support initiative designed to empower children, families, educators, and communities through understanding, connection, and practical support.
HEART stands for:
H – Hope
E – Education
A – Awareness
R – Resilience
T – Thrive
Our Approach
The HEART Programme goes beyond diagnosis. We take a whole-person approach, recognising that each individual is shaped by their unique strengths, challenges, relationships, and environment.
Our goal is to create supportive spaces where neurodivergent individuals can flourish - growing with confidence, developing meaningful connections, and building the skills they need to navigate everyday life.
Our support and training focus on:
✓ Sensory processing and sensory needs
✓ Identity, self-awareness, and personal growth
✓ Cognitive, social, and communication development
✓ Emotional and physical wellbeing
✓ Spiritual growth and purpose
✓ The connection between body, mind, and spirit
✓ Understanding the impact of neurodiversity within families, schools, workplaces, and communities
Neurodiversity Training
Our live, online neurodiversity training courses are designed to help participants better understand neurodivergent individuals while providing practical strategies that can be applied in everyday situations.
Whether you are supporting a child, student, family member, or colleague, our training will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to create more inclusive and supportive environments.
