First off let me say that it is not your fault
It was not what I expected. I thought it would spin for much longer than a few seconds. It would have been cool if it was battery operated or some sort of magnet to keep it spinning. But, I still like it. I like the texture and weight. I would turn it upside down and use my thumb on the base plate and turn it like that.
