The HEART Programme

We are excited to introduce the HEART Programme, a dedicated autism support initiative at Autism Resources South Africa. HEART stands for:
- H – Hope
- E – Education
- A – Awareness
- R – Resilience
- T – Thrive
Our mission is to empower and support neurodiverse children, their families, teachers, and communities - helping each individual flourish. To flourish means to grow and develop in a healthy, vigorous way, nurtured by a supportive environment.
Unlike programmes that focus solely on diagnosis, the HEART Programme takes a holistic approach. We consider the person as a whole, within their immediate, social, and broader environments. Our support services address:
- Sensory needs
- Identity and character
- Cognitive and social development
- Emotional and physical wellbeing
- Spiritual growth
- The integration of body, mind, and spirit
- The impact of neurodiversity on individuals, families, and communities
